Get rid of inner thigh fat? This is a question that I am always asked by my clients. I want everybody to know that this question of how to get rid of inner thigh fat cannot simply be answered with an exercise. There no such thing as targeting area’s to get rid of fat, it doesn’t work like that.

How do you get rid of inner thigh fat then?

Inner thigh fat can be lost but you will have focus more on the whole body. I have provided a few steps below on how to get rid of inner thigh fat.

  1. Completely get rid of junk foods such as McDonald’s. Cook fresh ingredients only. You also need to stay away from the processed foods and deep fried foods. Eliminating these bad foods from your diet will help you lose fat all over your body including your inner thigh.
  2. Drink lots of water. Majority of inner thigh fat could just be retained water. If you drink more water and keep hydrated you have a higher chance of regulating the retained water and boosting your metabolic rate.
  3. Eat meals regularly. If you eat small healthy meals every 2 – 3 hours in your day/ night you will thigh fathave more chance to burn fat and increase your metabolism.
  4. Eat more often. Eat small, balanced meals every 2 to 3 hours from the time you get up until the time you go to bed. This will give you plenty of energy, and it will also increase your metabolism.

Exercises to get rid of inner thigh fat

Although you cannot target you can definitely tone your muscles in your legs to appear tighter once you have lost the overall body fat. Below I have listed some exercises you can do.

Squat with ball.
Squatting with the ball can target your lower section. I recommend standing  with you back against the wall when doing this exercise. Do about 20 repetitions of 5 sets.

Lie on your back with your knees up. Place ball between your knees. Squeeze your knees together against the ball and hold for 20 seconds then rest. Repeat this for around 10 – 15 minutes.
